This is one of those concerts that kind of has it all, or at least a very good dose of what you’d expect from Celtic Colours. In order to get to the show, you will have to endure the breathtaking and spectacular scenery of the world-famous Cabot Trail. There is no other way to get to Aspy Bay on the northern tip of the Island. So make the most of this opportunity and take your time, stop to take some pictures, and just soak in the beauty. There are Community Meals in the area, or on the way, featuring crab, lobster and assorted delicious seafood, so you don’t have to worry about supper. And then there’s the concert itself, featuring two of the most dynamic and energetic young bands in Trad music today, some of the finest traditional Cape Breton tunes on fiddle, piano, and guitar, and dancers representing the Cape Breton and Irish Sean Nós styles. There’s a little something for everyone Way Up Down North.
Hosted by North Highlands Elementary Home and School
NEARBY MEALS: Lobster & Crab Supper and Top of the Island Seafood Dinner
