It’s hard not to notice when an artist puts their heart and soul into a performance. When a songstress closes their eyes on a pivotal line of a song or a fiddler comes “back on ‘er” on a G minor reel, you can just feel it. Heart and soul are the magical ingredients that turn a good performance into a stellar one. And this concert is chock full of it! Featuring members of renowned Prince Edward Island bands Vishtèn and The East Pointers, 6 Hearts will mesmerize with contemporary traditional music, strengthened by the two hearts that remain with them in spirit. Fiddler, piano player, dancer, and composer Mary Frances Leahy may surprise you with her unique playing style, but considering her musical roots, you know you are in for a treat! Mary Frances will be accompanied by Troy MacGillivray who has performed more than 20 times at Celtic Colours. You get the picture—this is a concert of passionate performers ready to touch your heart and soul.
