Incomparable guitar and melodeon player Tim Edey is a fan favourite at Celtic Colours. This will be his eighth time appearing at Celtic Colours. First performing in 2010, he’s played solo and with his own trio, as well as with harmonic a virtuoso Brendan Power, guitar wizard J.P. Cormier, fiddle master Ashley MacIsaac, and legendary Irish singer and concertina player Breanndán Ó Beaglaoich. Tim returns this year in a duo with traditional Irish singer Iarla Ó Lionáird whose unique singing style has carried him to stages and concert halls all over the world, from New York's Carnegie Hall to the Sydney Opera House. Evans & Doherty’s lively blend of traditional, original, and contemporary songs, sprinkled with stories and humour, have kept the duo in the East Coast spotlight for more than 30 years. Equally at home in a pub setting, concert hall, festival or convention, Evans & Doherty are first-rate musicians, singers, songwriters, promoters and producers. They also possess the ability to entertain any audience, any place, any time.
