The beautiful St. Peter’s Church in Ingonish will be bursting tonight with the music of Sweden, Norway, Ireland and Cape Breton. What a perfect setting for the number one Swedish folk trio Väsen and their heavenly arrangements. This will be the only Festival appearance by Coig, a Cape Breton supergroup featuring Chrissy Crowley, Rachel Davis, Colin Grant, Jason Roach and Darren McMullen. The Snowflake Trio teams up Irish flute player and singer Nuala Kennedy with accordion player Frode Haltli and Hardanger fiddle player Vegar Vårdal from Norway. This is a night of music is as big as the hills it's set against.
Nearby meal: Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner, North Ingonish Fire Hall
