Always a favourite, the Pipers’ Ceilidh is a bell ringer this year. Nuallan is the newly formed piping ensemble from the Gaelic College. With its new but also traditional approach to piping as a group, it features pipers Kenneth MacKenzie, Paul K. MacNeil, Rankin MacInnis and Keith MacDonald accompanied by Tracey Dares MacNeil, Patrick Gillis and Kyle MacDonald. North Atlantic Drift, a trio with fiddle and guitar, includes Highland and Uilleann piper Ross Griffiths from Ontario. Cape Breton's own Matt MacIsaac, who spent 8 years touring with Natalie MacMaster, makes it a total of six pipers with a delightful mix of styles. Sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon
