If you missed Saturday’s performance by the Unusual Suspects of Celtic Colours, here’s your chance. We couldn’t bring these 28 amazing musicians together from Scotland, Ireland, BC, Nova Scotia and the UK for only one show. The first Unusual Suspects was created by David Milligan and Corrina Hewat in Scotland. In 2004 we asked them to help us make it international and bring it to Celtic Colours. It caused such a stir that we brought it back in 2006. Our 20th anniversary wouldn’t be complete without revisiting this amazing project. Arranged and directed by David and Corrina, along with Allie Bennet, the instruments range from fiddle and piano to electro harp, pipes, flutes, accordions, a horn section and percussion, all in a massive folk orchestra based on our Celtic cultures. Watch for some new faces and some familiar ones. It’s a thrill to see your favourite players in an exciting new context. Guaranteed unforgettable!
