This is also Cape Breton supergroup Còig’s last night at the Festival. Featuring Rachel Davis and Chrissy Crowley on fiddles, Jason Roach on piano, and Darren McMullen on just about everything else, these are four of the finest players on the scene today. But it’s not all about tunes and good-byes tonight. Canadian folk music legend Garnet Rogers and Margaree born singer-songwriter Lisa Cameron will add some well-chosen, melodically-inclined words to this evening’s gathering at the head of the waters.
